hot flashes news the haunted

Swedish metallers THE HAUNTED recently released a 3-track single, entitled 'Eye Of The Storm', via Century Media Records, as well as a video for 'My Enemy' (featuring rehearsal room footage for the relentless 58-seconds track), which can be seen below.

An update from The Haunted states: "As we do not seem to have any conspiracy theorists amongst our fans (well, that, or we are blessed with a thick fan base) we might as well let the cat out of the bag: There is a hidden message in our recently released video for 'My Enemy'. It's in code. You might need to ask an adult for advice.

First one to post the correct answer in the comments of this post will win an Eye Of The Storm EP. Not only that, it'll be one of each color (black, red and white). So three EPs, signed by the band, to the winner. Do NOT post your address along with your answer. The winner will be contacted directly. Go crazy!

NOTE: No inboxing answers anwhere! No correct answers on video YouTube page (or anywhere else) will be considered. Post your answer as a comment to this post only!"

'Eye Of The Storm' is available as limited edition 7” EP (1,000 copies split as follows: 500 on black vinyl, 300 on red vinyl and 200 on white vinyl) and as digital single, featuring the new songs 'Eye Of The Storm', 'Infiltrator' and 'My Enemy'.

Listen to 'Eye Of The Storm' below:

You can order the 7” (in black or red vinyl versions) as well as the band’s back catalogue for special reduced prices from CM Distro in Europe here. And here is the iTunes purchase link to the digital single.

The single marks The Haunted’s recording debut in their revamped lineup announced last summer, featuring founding members Jensen (guitars) and Jonas Björler (bass), returning members Marco Aro (vocals) and Adrian Erlandsson (drums), as well as new member Ola Englund (guitars).

The Haunted are currently working on their upcoming studio album, expected for a summer 2014 release. A message from the band follows:

"After having found our feet as a band onstage at last week's 70,000 Tons Of Metal festival (video below), it is now time to bring the mayhem home to Scandinavia. First show of the tour will hit Gothenburg (I mean, where else, right?) followed up by a string of shows in Sweden, Norway and Finland. The reception of the three new songs from our newly released EP 'Eye Of The Storm' at 70K was amazing, so expect them to be played, together with a truckload of other hard-hitters. We can't wait to get back out there playing shows again, and we'll make sure it has been worth your while sticking around for us through thick and thin. See you all somewhere along the road!"
