The Iron Maidens guitarst Nita Straus, who recently joined Alice Cooper's touring band - replacing Orianthi - recently guested on Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx's syndicated radio show, Sixx Sense. Check out the career-spanning interview below:

Nita Strauss is quickly becoming one of the most exciting and prolific female shred guitarist to come along in years. She joined up with Alice Cooper earlier this summer and immediately went on a massive tour across North America with Mötley Crue, which will continue through the fall.

Strauss takes the place of Orianthi, who has toured with Alice for the past few years. She also made her name in bands including The Iron Maidens, Femme Fatale, and LA Kiss, joins Alice's three guitar attack, which also features guitarists Ryan Roxie and Tommy Henriksen, plus longtime bassist Chuck Garric and drummer Glen Sobel.

Strauss checks in with the following report: "The past two months on the Motley Crue Final tour have been unreal! Every time the curtain drops to start our set and I feel the crowd roar wash over me it's amazing to look to my right and see the legendary Alice Cooper. We have made so many great memories on this tour playing too sold out amphitheaters and arenas all over North America and meeting tons of new fans. Hard to believe we only have a week left of the first leg of this tour. Motley has been a blast to tour with. The band and crew have been so great to us and they put on a hell of a show every single night.

"I'm really excited about partnering up with All Axess for the launch of my website . Not only is that going to be the place to get any and all news about what I'm up to, it also has tons of exclusive photos, videos and merchandise that you can only get there. Look for a slew of new instructional video lessons and photos over the next few months as I will constantly be keeping the site updated. Thanks for the support and hopefully see you all soon."
