As the band formerly known as Thin Lizzy go from strength to strength in their own right, Black Star Riders latest album, Killer Instinct, sees them spreading their musical wings. Metal Express Radio correspondent Mick Burgess caught up with guitarist Damon Johnson during their sold out UK tour with Europe.

Hard rock legends Def Leppard and Whitesnake recently announce a joint headline UK and Irish arena tour with support from Black Star Riders. Tickets on sale at 10am on April 1st from Live Nation UK.
I am very excited to be working with Whitesnake again; we had such a wonderful time when we did it back in 2008," says Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott. "It’s a great experience for rock fans to be able to see two great live bands on the same stage on the same night."
