TIM 'RIPPER' OWENS Continues Work On New BEYOND FEAR Album

Current DIO DISCIPLES/former JUDAS PRIEST/ICED EARTH/YNGWIE MALMSTEEN singer Tim "Ripper" Owens and his band are continuing work on the follow-up to BEYOND FEAR's self-titled debut from 2006.

"Rhythm guitars, bass and drums are done for the new Beyond Fear," the band update. "Solos and harmonies next, and of course Mr. Ripper Owens!!!"

Beyond Fear are currently laying down the new material at Empire Studios in Cleveland, OH. The album is due out later this year on an as-yet-unspecified label, following the band's split from Steamhammer/SPV.

Beyond Fear 2013 also feature RINGWORM guitarists John Comprix and Matt Sorg, drummer Eric Elkins (CRYPTKICKER) and bassist Ed Stephens.

Owens, who missed Dio Disciples appearance on The Monsters Of Rock Cruise (that sailed from March 16th and sail till the 20th from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Nassau, Bahamas and back), will perform a two-hour set of classics on April 5th in Wilmington, DE at Mojo13 and April 6th at Cage 611 in Frederick, MD.
