Vancouver-based Trailight, launched by photographer-turned-musician Omer Cordell, is currently work on a new album, The Primitive Mountain. An audio teaser for the album is available below; the complete tracklist is as follows:

Cordell has checked in with an overview of the track "Passer By":
"Musically, this song is very simple, it has a really nice swing to it and the vocals take precedence over everything. When I gave Dave (Padden / Annihilator) the music with me singing on it, I gave him full creative control over what he wants to alter harmony wise and in this song, the chorus sounds completely different than the original idea I sent him.When we recorded that track he said he had an idea for a different chorus harmony and that he wants to layer some harmonies. After we did the first pass, I remember it sounding a bit odd to me at first but when he started layering the harmonies, it was a game changer. I remember looking back at him and just saying 'Wow!'. He really took this song (and all the rest of course) to a whole new level vocally.
The girls from Sound Of The Sun layered even more beautiful vocals to complete the song.
I think this album (personally and selfishly) is Dave's best work that showcases his immense vocal ability and talent."
