UNISONIC Issue Statement Regarding Cancellation Of South Korean Show - "Heavy Breach Of Contract"

Back in August, Unisonic announced they had cancelled their scheduled September 7th show in Seoul, South Korea at Jayla Art Hall. They didn't provide a reason for the cancellation at the time, but have now released a statement:

"Unfortunately, we received several mails from Korean fans telling us they have problems returning the Unisonic concert tickets for the cancelled show. Also we were told, the promoter is blaming the band for the cancellation.

Please note that we deeply apologize the cancellation, band and management tried everything possible to play the show in Seoul! Due to heavy breach of contract and basically zero communication from promoter´s side, we finally had to cancel.

In fact we booked our flight tickets from Japan to Seoul a long time ago, but due to a missing proper invitation we did not even have any visa to enter Korea and had to stay in transit area. Besides us losing some serious money for airfares and crew, we are very sad to hear you, the fans, have problems to get your money back!

We hope we can make up for this in the near future with a great show in Seoul!"

Unisonic's schedule supporting Edguy is currently as follows:

September

28 - Oberhausen, Germany - Turbinenhalle
30 - München, Germany - Backstage

October

2 - Bamberg, Germany - Brose Arena
3 - Filderstadt, Germany - Filharmonie
4 - Kaufbeuren, Germany - All Kart Halle
6 - Rome, Italy - Orion
7 - Milan, Italy - Live Club
