VELVET REVOLVER Working On Ten Songs For New Album

VELVET REVOLVER drummer Matt Sorum (ex-GUNS N' ROSES, THE CULT) has posted the following update at his official blog:
"Have been hard at work on the new Velvet Revolver stuff. We have been working five days a week for the last month. And have about 10 songs worked up. Going to work in my studio for another couple of weeks.Then start rehearsing for our mini tour of the west coast. Then back in the studio to complete the album."
As previously reported, a brand new Velvet Revolver song, 'The House Is Alive' has been released on the Monster House soundtrack. Monster House is an animated movie about three youths who realize that their neighbor's house is actually a living monster. It hits theatres on July 21st.
