VENOM To Headline Calgary's Noctis 5 Metal Festival; AGALLOCH, PIG DESTROYER, GRAND MAGUS And More Confirmed

Scarab Metal Productions has put the final touches on the details of the Noctis V Metal Fest. The festival is taking place over three days - September 27th - 29th - at the University of Calgary's MacEwan Hall Ballroom, the Distillery Nightclub and Vern’s Bar in downtown Calgary.
Headlining the festival will be black-metal legends VENOM, in their first Canadian appearance in 27 years. Supporting acts will include AGALLOCH, PIG DESTROYER, MANILLA ROAD, GRAND MAGUS, NUNSLAUGHTER, BLACK WITCHERY, EXREMENTORY GRINDFUCKERS, MIDNIGHT, PSYCHOSTICK, ARCHSPIRE.
BLOOD CEREMONY and SPEEDWOLF will play at the Noctis Launch party, along with THE CONTORTIONIST.
As for accompanying Canadian talent, the bill includes THE ORDER OF CHAOS, EPI-DEMIC, KATAPLEXIS and PHANTOM LIMB, all from Calgary. ANCIIENTS, SCYTHIA, and HOOPSNAKE - all from British Columbia - have been added to the bill.
To help Noctis patrons unwind after what is sure to be an epic set by Venom, the official after party at Vern’s Bar will include a metal and punk set by BLOATED PIG and OH SHIT!.
