Rich Davenport's Rock Show this week (Thursday, November 29th - 9 - 11 PM, repeated Saturday, December 1st - 8 - 10 AM, on Totalrock.com) features exclusive interviews with Geoff Thorpe of VICIOUS RUMORS and Jack Blades of NIGHT RANGER.
In the first hour, Vicious Rumors mainstay Geoff Thorpe discusses the band's new live album, Live You To Death, recorded in December 2011 on the band's tour with HAMMERFALL, and also talks about their plans to release a new studio album in 2013. Geoff also chooses songs from the album, including two live cuts and a studio version of a RONNIE JAMES DIO-era BLACK SABBATH classic.
In the second hour of the show, Night Ranger frontman Jack Blades will be choosing four songs from the band's new 24 Strings And A Drummer Live And Acoustic CD/DVD, which sees the band's trademark vocal harmonies and shredding solos all present and correct even in an acoustic setting. Jack also talks about the recording of the album, their recent UK shows, and their plans for a new studio album.
The show also features classic tracks and killer new cuts from AC/DC (from the band's new live album), ISSA, AEROSMITH, 21 GUNS, DANGER ZONE, DIO, BLUE ORIGIN, MANOWAR, ABSOLVA, THE RIGHTEOUS HILLBILLIES and PARAGON.
