VOLBEAT At Work On New Album; Studio Video Posted

Volbeat have been recording their upcoming new album with engineer/producer Joe Barresi, and have posted video footage from the studio, streaming below. The new album is Volbeat’s follow-up to Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies (2013) and will be co-produced by lead guitarist Rob Caggiano. Updates to follow.

Volbeat have announced a string of US dates around their upcoming Coachella performances, including “An Evening With Volbeat” date a The Roxy in West Hollywood, CA on April 13th. Support on the other dates will come from Black Stone Cherry and Monster Truck.

Metallica have announced that they will be headlining the first rock concert at Minneapolis' US Bank Stadium, the new home of the Minnesota Vikings, on Saturday, August 20th as part of the opening weekend festivities. Tickets for this one-of-a-kind concert will go on sale this Friday, March 25th at 10 AM Local Time. Avenged Sevenfold will provide direct support, marking one of only a few shows the hard rock band will play in the United States this year. Volbeat will open the show with their unique blend of rock, metal and rockabilly.
