WILLIE BASSE To Receive I.E.S. Rock Honors Award

Cultural Ambassador to The Sunset Strip, Willie Basse, will receive an I.E.S. Rock Honors award on August 10th at Skinny’s Lounge in North Hollywood, CA. This year inductees include David Bowie, The Police, Tom Petty & Heartbreakers, and Willie Basse.
Joining Basse on stage to receive his award will be Mitch Perry, Jimmy D'Anda, Michael Olivieri, and Brian Conroy. Skinny’s Lounge is located at 4923 Lankershim Blvd N. Hwd 91601. Admission to the event is free. Start time 7 PM.
Also, on Friday, August 12th Basse and his new band lineup will be signing autographs at the I.E.S. North Hollywood screening of Inside Metal, the documentary film about the pioneers of the 80's Los Angeles rock scene.
