WIZARDS OF WINTER Featuring Former Members Of TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA Announce Partnership With Breaking Bands LLC

Yuletide progressive metal ensemble, Wizards Of Winter, have announce their signing with Breaking Bands LLC and The Agency Group. The Wizards Of Winter are an eclectic group of musicians from the NY/NJ/PA tri-state region, who perform classical and progressive-influenced rock music woven throughout a theatrical holiday-themed event. While the group’s style is undoubtedly inspired by the genius of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO), the Wizards Of Winter are far from a TSO tribute band. While somewhat similar to TSO in style, the Wizards’ original material is very unique and has quite a broad audience appeal, applied in a more intimate setting.

Breaking Bands LLC is directed and founded by the powerhouse team of Adrenaline PR CEO Maria Ferrero, Testament vocalist and co-manager Chuck Billy, and former MegaForce Records and Crazed Management owners Jon and Marsha Zazula. The team is pleased to be joining forces with the Wizards Of Winter.

“The winter season is a magical time that evokes a special feeling of peace, celebration and harmony,” states Maria Ferrero. “The band Wizards Of Winter invokes the holiday spirit and inspires all who listen. Their shows are unparalleled and I’m very excited to work with such artists.”
“The holiday season, family and friends, and music mean everything to me,” adds Chuck Billy. “I’m thrilled to now present to the public, a show for all ages: The Wizards Of Winter!”

Jon Zazula adds, “It’s amazing how much growth the Wizards Of Winter had on their own. Now with the union of our two organizations, we plan to expand this ensemble to greater horizons on a national level.”

As mentioned above, the Wizards Of Winter have also signed with The Agency Group, who are known for booking some of today’s biggest and best artists. The band is proudly represented by agent Dan Rozenblum in North America.

“The Wizards Of Winter are extremely honoured to have the opportunity to work with the true industry legends that comprise management group Breaking Bands LLC. Together with globally recognized talent booking agency The Agency Group, we are convinced that we have now secured the perfect team to build our brand and launch us to the next level,” states Wizards Of Winter Music Director Scott Kelly.

In 2014, The Wizards Of Winter released their own Christmas Rock Opera album based on entirely original material, which provides the musical background for the band’s live holiday rock opera production, Tales Beneath a Northern Star. The libretto and music together take the listener on a journey throughout space and time on the night of Christmas Eve in search of the true meaning of the season.

A journey is just what the Wizards Of Winter want fans to experience when listening to their music. Each song is an individual artistic expression that will impact each audience member.  “Each song is like one of your own children. You create it, nurture it, protect it and then when ready, you let it fly on its own,” states Sharon Kelly, founding member, lead vocalist and flautist. “People in the audience, feeling the same raw emotion that inspired us to write the songs is very moving.”

As a testament to the virtuosity of the group, several original members of The Trans-Siberian Orchestra have joined the Wizards Of Winter on their musical journey. They include Guy LeMonnier, Joe Cerisano, and Tony Gaynor. Tommy Farese and Michael Lanning, also former members of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, have performed with the band on occasion as well.

Throughout their history, the Wizards Of Winter have performed to packed theaters throughout the Northeast. Every night is like lightning in a bottle with the Wizards firing at all cylinders, and every year, the band’s stage production becomes the new yearly tradition for another fan. 2015 will bring a bigger stage production, a ton of new music, and a wider geographic reach on their winter tour. The band is currently in the studio laying down tracks for their next release due out around the same time.

Stay tuned for more details on new music and their upcoming holiday tour.
