Metal shred guitarist XANDER DEMOS has announced that he will be opening for two upcoming metal shows at Dead Horse Cantina, in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA.

On Thanksgiving Eve, November 21st, Xander and his band, consisting of Jeff Anzelone (drums), Adam Heusey (keyboards), Mario Brescia (lead vocals), and Christopher Free (bass) will be opening for DIO DISCIPLES.

Then, on December 30th, Xander and band will open for original IRON MAIDEN vocalist, PAUL DI'ANNO.

Xander's debut album, Guitarcadia, mixed by FIREHOUSE frontman, CJ Snare, was initially self-released in February 2012, and it was re-released digitally in late August by German label Rock 'N' Growl Records. The album has received international press and airplay, with two studio performance videos, 'Right Angles' and 'White Knuckle Driving' each receiving in excess of 95,000 YouTube views.

Xander Demos is based in Pittsburgh, PA, where he performs with his solo band, opening for acts like SYMPHONY X, BUCKETHEAD, ADRENALINE MOB and others. He also plays in JUKEBOX, an 80s rock cover band, and REVOLUTION, a QUEENSRŸCHE tribute act. He is also a member of the US east coast chapter of James Rivera's SABBATH JUDAS SABBATH.
