PREGIERZ - Blood Sanctions

A double 7" of insanely raw, totally old-school, and very cult blackened death from Poland? I'm not a hard man to please when you whisper sweet nothings like that into my ear. And when it's all sloppy and wild and ragged and late-'80s like this, well, I'm all yours. So, uh, have your way with me, Pregierz, because this death metal is the metal of death just the way I like it, and while I could probably never identify this band if you put a blindfold on me (if you'll pardon my 50 shades of blackthrash) and cranked this up and forced me to say the band name, I would never guess it.

But when it's on, forget it, I just love it, tunes like "Crawling Abomination" summing up all that is right and good about Hellhammer and all other manner of proto-black and early death and modern bestial. Add in a touch of the harshest old-school German thrash (in atmosphere if not strict sonics), and the fact that I think double 7"s are totally awesome, and it's a winner.
