SICK OF IT ALL - The Last Act Of Defiance

The Godfathers of NYHC (along with Agnostic Front) show no sign of slowing down or mellowing on this their tenth platter. In fact, this batch of tracks can be compared favourably to their Built To Last opus from 1997 in terms of production and old school hardcore relentlessness, if not quite in the number of quality songs. Hard to believe that guys who must be pushing their mid/late 40s can have this much pent up aggression, making the output of their younger HC competition seem positively tame in comparison. Sure, like the genre itself, there's minimal growth shown here, but fans will eat this stuff up in any event. There's no doubting Sick Of It All's credibility and place at the very top of the NYHC pile.
