Ready to celebrate a decade as a legitimate recording act (which has thus far only delivered a trio of studio efforts, an Ep and a live disc), album #4 is comprised of ten tracks(48 minutes), plus the opening intro (which leads into the title cut), from the Kai Hansen (GAMMA RAY) approved traditional Teutonic metallers, although they have a penchant for Scandic tales of heroism. The sound is all German: catchy, galloping, twin guitar and double bass driven anthems to thrust fists and swill beer. To high brow delusions or experimentations here, just meat n' potatoes metal (as Mr. Popoff likes to call it). Not that there’s anything wrong with that. To the contrary, festival appearances on both sides of the Atlantic prove that for many, simple is enjoyable.
