Heidi Braithwaite from Southern Star is reporting:

AC/DC promoters have assured concert-goers there will be no problems with sound at this week’s much anticipated performances at Nathan’s QSAC (in Brisbane).

There will also be 30 extra buses, four rail shuttle buses and six extra rail services scheduled to deal with the 90,000 fans expected to attend the two concerts on Thursday and Saturday nights.

AC/DC promoter Fred Hunter said the band had played bigger stadiums than QSAC and had not had any complaints about people not being able to hear the show.

The comments follow last year’s PEARL JAM concert at the Queensland Sports And Athletic Centre (formerly ANZ Stadium) which was slammed as a second-rate concert venue after some fans complained of poor sound quality, layout and transport facilities.
