Dailystar.co.uk is reporting:

Hard rock titans AC/DC caused hysteria when all 40,000 tickets for their comeback tour sold out in minutes.

Now cheeky touts are trying to re-flog the sought-after pieces of paper for up to five times the original selling price.

BT were forced to set up a special message on phonelines admitting “serious network problems”.

Within half an hour of the start of selling for two shows at London’s O2 Arena in April, one at the LG Birmingham Arena and one at Manchester Arena, eBay and other web re-sale outlets were advertising tickets.

Some keen fans were forced to part with £410 for a pair of London seats with a face value of £45.

Birmingham ones were being advertised at £192 a pop.

Seatwave, the ticket sale website, declared about 9,000 AC/DC seats were up for grabs.

A spokeswoman for the band said: “It’s not something we have control over but it does seem unbelievable that fans are clamouring for tickets yet minutes after they’ve sold out they are being re-sold at five times their face value.”
