According to Argusleader.com, the production crew for AEROSMITH used the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa, for the past week to work through technical rehearsals in preparation for the band’s first date of its national tour kicking off tomorrow (Saturday, June 16th) at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

More than 150 Sioux City workers spent the past five days working day and night to finalize the stage design and the show logistics, from set up to tear down, to be used at each location on the band’s upcoming tour.

“We were paying attention to Aerosmith’s routing, saw an opening, and we were able to pull it together,” Aran Rush, Sioux City’s Events & Facilities executive director, said in a news release. “We were not able to get a show, but we were able to introduce some new people to Sioux City, fill hotel rooms, and keep Sioux Cityans employed for a week on a major tour.”
