As previously reported, ALESTORM is currently on the road in the UK with TURISAS and NORTHER. The following is an excerpt from guitarist Gavin Harper's ongoing tour diary:
March 5th - Liverpool
"There is something fucking gorgeous about rolling into a town where the first shop you happen to see is called 'BOOZE!' and the novelty of that hasn't even worn off before you're stopped at traffic lights outside 'BARGAIN BOOZE!' Fucking hell, I love Liverpool!We stopped midway in rape-central. Some wierd ass country sideroad that you could literally feel the banjos and toothless men in the air! This was like 3-ish hours outta Liverpool before anyone stabs me! Haha!
The venue kicked ass! We actually got good food! Loads! More than we could eat, which is unnatural! I also met up with my friend Becca and her sister before the gig with Chris and his friend Michael Cox and we went to a pub for one drink. why one? We ended up being late for stage setup! Ha!
The crowd tonight were fucking INSANE! Best fun of the tour so far! We also played the best we had to date and somehow kicked off a huge party at the bar later on in the night!
Gotta appologise to the girl who said 'Sign my face' and I may have ended up making her entire face blue... BUT it's all in good fun!
Met some fucking AMAZING people and I cannot wait till we come back cause I honestly had a brilliant time tonight!
Oh, 5 (I think) gigs in and I still haven't watched Turisas or Norther!"
