AMERICAN DOG vocalist/bassist Michael Hannon has provided BW&BK; with the following update:
France's Bad Reputation label will re-issue American Dog's debut, Last Of A Dying Breed, in February as a double CD. The first disc being the Last Of A Dying Breed CD with two bonus tracks: a cover of VAN HALEN's 'Take Your Whiskey Home' and a cover of THE CULT's 'Peace Dog' with additional vocals from Jason McMaster (DANGEROUS TOYS/BROKEN TEETH). The second disc is a live show from 2000 called, If You Want Bud, You've Got It!
American Dog also added two tracks to Bad Reputation's MOTORHEAD tribute disc, Saint Valentine's Day Massacre, namely 'Rock It' and a duet with CRUCIFIED BARBARA of 'Please Don't Touch'. A video of that song is also included on the disc. For more info visit www.badreputation.fr.
In other American Dog news their live CD, Foamin' At The Mouth - Live is being released in Europe in January by Phoenix Records and will feature the bonus track 'Wang Dang Sweet Poontang', originally by TED NUGENT.
Finally, American Dog have been slowing down on live shows while they concentrate on material for their next studio disc, which should be out in the Spring. Currently the band have two gigs booked: a New Year's Eve show in Marysville, Ohio on December 31st and the Classic Metal Show 10th Anniversary in Cleveland, Ohio on January 14th. These will be the only shows until March when American Dog will tour the Midwest with Broken Teeth.
