ANVIL Perform At Vintage Vinyl, Video Available; Band Kick Off Season 3 Of That Metal Show

ANVIL performed and signed autographs on Sunday (September 27th) at Vintage Vinyl in Fords, New Jersey. Fan-filmed footage from the event can be seen below.

Times Square was buzzing with rockers on Monday night as the Hard Rock Café in New York City played host to VH1 Classic’s That Metal Show. The Eddie Trunk-hosted show kicked off its third season in style with a taping of a one hour debut special featuring a live performance by Anvil.
The packed theater stirred with raucous audience members as Trunk, Don Jamison and Jim Florentine talked metal, played a pre-recorded report from the Download Festival, played Stump the Trunk with the crowd, and interviewed Anvil.
In attendance at the taping were former TT QUICK and new ACCEPT vocalist Mark Tornillo as well as STREETLIGHT CIRCUS vocalist David Shaw and guitarist George Giannoulis. Tornillo was interviewed by Trunk on air while Shaw and Giannoulis were in the front row and rocking during Anvil’s performance.
This marked the Canadian rockers’ second appearance on the show, this time to promote the DVD release of Anvil! The Story of Anvil. The show will air this Saturday night after VH1 presents the television premiere of the documentary.
Eddie Trunk announced that other guests this season will include ROB HALFORD, STEVE VAI and RATT.
