AVANTASIA To Hold "World Premiere" At Sweden Rock 2008

EDGUY main man Tobias Sammet's metal opera project AVANTASIA will play their first-ever live performance at Sweden Rock 2008, which will run from June 4th - 7th in Sölvesborg, Sweden. Sammet is being backed by a phenomenal band, whose merits include KAMELOT, HEAVEN'S GATE and - of course - Edguy. As well, the following vocalists will perform their "roles" on stage: Bob Catley (MAGNUM), Jörn Lande (ex-MASTERPLAN), Andre Matos (ex-ANGRA) and Amanda Somerville (ex-AINA). "More surprise guests may appear," organizers add.
Also added to the bill are VIVIAN and SEBASTIAN BACH.
