Brazilian death metal act BLAKK MARKET have started the recording of their debut album, tentatively titled Self-improvement: Suicide. The band entered AML Studios this week to capture the ten tracks that will be featured on the release. Three of them are originally from their 2004 demo CD Hateful Affection, a very limited edition material, and will be presented as brand-new versions on the debut album. The other seven songs complete the album and work, along side the other three, as parts of the title's concept.

The band are recording their debut Album with producer Alexei Leão (STORMENTAL, SHADOW OF SADNESS), who worked previously with the band on the 'Hateful Affection' sessions.

Formed in 2002, Blakk Market's current line-up comprises Fernando Melleu (vocals), Alexandre Schneider (guitar), Thiago Rocha (Guitar / vocals) and Fellipe Chiella (bass). You can check their sound out on their MySpace page here.
