Guitar International's Rob Cavuoto has issued a new interview with BUCKCHERRY co-founder/guitarist Keith Nelson. The following is an excerpt:

Q: With all of the American Idol type stuff on the radio these days, do you feel like you are carrying the torch for good ole’ balls to the wall rock and roll?

A: "It wasn’t really our plan to be a torch carrier but it certainly does seem that the number of rock bands out there is dwindling by the day. I’m proud to be a rock n roll band, I love what we do.

We‘ve been the black sheep since we came out and its serving us well, as it makes us unique. At the end of the day our music is connecting with people and they are buying more than just the single; they must realize how genuine it is."
