CIRCLE II CIRCLE, featuring former SAVATAGE lead singer Zak Stevens, marked the 20th anniversary of the classic Savatage album, Edge Of Thorns, by performing the album in it's entirety on their recent European tour, which kicked off May 8th in Germany. The band also celebrated 10 years of Circle II Circle, and performed many band favorites.

Stevens has checked in with the following recap:

"I wanted to put a little perspective on this first CIIC European Tour for 2013 now that I'm back home from the tour last night and I've had a little time to think about it. When we decided to play Savatage's Edge of Thorns album in its entirety (along with songs from the new CIIC Seasons Will Fall album) for this tour, I didn't really think about what I would see out there at the shows. What I saw was incredible. A lot of the same faces that we in Savatage saw back in 1993 on the on the original Edge of Thorns Tour. And that was really amazing to me. It's hard to put in words how special it is to see the people that are essentially the cornerstone supporters of my entire career still coming out to hear one of their favorite albums twenty (yes, twenty) years later. That really took me by surprise and it was one those 'wow' moments of my career. But it's really just a testament to how incredible the Savatage fans have always been, and I really appreciate how all of you have supported CIIC in our ten years of existence as well. Sometimes you just don't know what to expect until it happens. And on this tour it was something very special and it was an experience that the members of CIIC will never forget. We will never forget our longest-time European fans and supporters and all of the new faces we saw on this tour as well. Thanks again for all of the great years in the greatest business in the world. We will always love you!"

Seasons Will Fall is CIIC’s sixth and strongest album to date from both a musical and production standpoint, according to a press release. It blends Zak Stevens’ history and unique “Savatage style” with the fresh sounds he developed with CIIC. A powerful fusion of metal mixed with hard rock, fueled by Zak Stevens’ passionate melodic rock vocals. From the howling guitar riffs on 'Diamond Blade' and 'Killing Death' to the energetic sound of 'Never Gonna Stop', the album contains everything you want from a heavy rock album.
