CYCLE OF PAIN's John JD DeServio On Upcoming Dates With BLACK LABEL SOCIETY - "It's A Dream Come True"

CYCLE OF PAIN, brainchild of journeyman bassist John “J.D.” Deservio, has announced an April 21st street date for their upcoming self-titled debut on Reform Records/Rock Ridge Music.
Recently, JD checked in with GlamMetal.com to discuss the upcoming release, and upcoming tour with BLACK LABEL SOCIETY. The following is an excerpt from the interview, conducted by Deb Rao:
Q: You are no strangers to the members of the band. You have been performing with Joe and Greg for many years. How did Cycle Of Pain come into fruition? Who made the first move to put COP together.
A: "Well, I got a record deal and wanted my bros with me. They're all killer musicians."
Q: Cycle Of Pain has so many great guest artists on the CD. What was it like working with ZAKK WYLDE on your debut album?
A: "Pure comedy as always!!! We had a blast."
Q: How does Cycle Of Pain differ from Black Label Society?
A: "Different songwriters. Different influences."
Q: Are you looking forward to performing double duty with COP and Black Label Society on the BLS tour beginning in April 21st?
A: "It's a dream come true!!!"
Q: Also you have just announced bass clinics. What do you most enjoy about performing at these clinics. We will be out to see you perform on April 8th in NH.
A: "I love educating the kids and adults about different styles of music."
