DOKKEN has hit the road this summer with POISON and SEBASTIAN BACH on the Live, Raw, and Uncut Tour. On nights off from the Poison tour, Dokken is playing various club dates in support of their latest release on Rhino Records, Lightning Strikes Again.

Dokken performed in Clifton Park, New York at Northern Lights on August 5 and performed a 75 minute set of their classic hits. Opening with 'Tooth And Nail', Don was sporting his classic sunglasses and dressed all in black. The band launched into 'Into The Fire' and Don commented, "every year I say this will be the last Dokken tour. Then I come to play in New York or New Jersey, and hear this response and realize, this is why I play music."

One of the most moving moments of the night occurred when Don dedicated 'Alone Again', to his mother, who had just passed away on Thursday, August 31st. Don commented, "My Mom is looking down on me tonight. She is in a better place." The staff at BraveWords.com would like to offer their sincere condolences to the Dokken family at this difficult time. Don gave an outstanding heartfelt performance on this song, truly magical and his voice sounded great from his recent sinus surgery.

Picking the mood up, Dokken launched into 'It’s Not Love', as Don introduced the song as one of his favourite videos of the band cruising down Sunset Boulevard in a fire engine in their heyday. Guitarist Jon Levin cranked out the catchy guitar solo to perfection. Dokken ended the night with 'In My Dreams', as the band took the fans into their MTV video heyday with this classic hit.

Dokken setlist: 'Intro/'Without Warning', 'Tooth And Nail', 'Into The Fire', 'Standing On the Outside', 'Unchain The Night', 'Kiss Of Death', 'The Hunter', 'Alone Again', 'Breaking The Chains', 'Too High Too Fly', 'It's Not Love', 'In My Dreams'.
