EPICA - Online Shop Due To Be Up And Running Soon

EPICA have issued the following update:
"We are very happy to announce that our webshop will be put online very soon. Our webshop will be managed by Merchandising Direct. Merchandising Direct is a specialized company with lots of experience in this branch so we are very happy to be working together on this.We also wanted to give a special thanks to MusicXport.nl for helping us out with our first USA tour we did last month. Without their support this wouldn't have been possible. MusicXport is an initiative of Buma Cultuur and the Dutch Rock and Pop Institute (NPI) that aims to enhance the profile of Dutch artists abroad."

As previously reported, in a recent interview with BW&BK; , NIGHTWISH bassist/vocalist Marco Hietala commented on recent rumours that Epica vocalist Simone Simons had been chosen to replace Tarja Turunen as Nighwish's new vocalist:
"Yeah, I heard those rumours," says Hietala. "I think it was last week that a story appeared in the Finnish press that they had heard from a 'really reliable source' that we had been in contact with Simone and that she would be the new singer of Nightwish. I really wonder what kind of people make up these things. It's just so stupid. I mean, Simone is a great singer so I can understand why people would think that we're interested in her, but Epica is a very active band right now so it's pretty stupid to think she'd be leaving them at this point in their career."
