FROM BLOOD AND BURNING Signs To Blind Prophecy Records

FROM BLOOD AND BURNING is the newest addition to Blind Prophecy Records' roster. Consisting of three-fifths of Metal Blade artists of PATHS OF POSSESSION, From Blood And Burning is striving to take conceptual horror to the next level, interweaving the music as well as the lyrics into an album that will have a feel all its own.
Blind Prophecy owner James McComas states, “I am really excited to work with an artist such as Randy (Butman - vocals/bass). His creativity is so welcome in an industry full of bands that all sound the same. As a huge Paths Of Possession fan, I look forward to what he will create next in this new project.”
From Blood And Burning was unleashed in mid 2007, but it has been a long time in the making. Enlisting the help of drummer Nick Goodyear (Paths Of Possession/Dark Faith), guitarist Jack Goodwin (Paths Of Possession) and guitarist Josh Cannon (Sorcerer/After Death), From Blood And Burning entered Death N Decay Studios in Tampa, Florida to record Demo 07. The band will start recording the new full length later this year at Mana Recording Studios with master engineer Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL, CANNIBAL CORPSE, GOATWHORE). The album release is scheduled for early 2008.
“I am excited to be working with a label such as Blind Prophecy, who gives true artist support and takes the time to put into the artist,” explains Randy Butman of From Blood And Burning.
2008 will not see any vampires or zombies coming out of From Blood And Burning, just the very real, deep, black, rotten parts in the back of the soul.
