Fuel Records is pleased to announce the international release of two very promising Italian metal bands: ALEPH with In Tenebra and SOWN with Downside both out on July 6th.
According to a press release, In Tenebra is Aleph's debut album which was released on the Italian market exclusively at the end of 2006. The sound of the band is reminiscing of PAIN OF SALVATION with elements of heavier sounding bands such as OPETH, ATHEIST and PESTILENCE. The band was voted Revelation Band 2006 in the Metal Hammer Italy reader’s poll and in July 2007, Aleph will tour Europe as special guest of DISMEMBER. Sown sound has been compared to BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, TRIVIUM, DEVILDRIVER, IGNITE. Included in Downside is a heart-felt tribute to Dimebag Darrell entitled 'Suicide Note Pt.1'.
