hot flashes news gwar

GWAR have just hit the road on The Bloody Tour of Horror, in support of their upcoming release, Bloody Pit Of Horror, which is in stores November 9th on Metal Blade Records.

In celebration of the release, your space mutant overlords have announced two in-store appearances where you, the human scum will have the chance to meet your masters in person.

The first in-store appearance is slated for Sunday, October 24th in Rochester, NY at The House Of Guitars located at 645 Titus Ave Rochester, NY 14617. The signing takes place from 3 - 4 PM. There will also be a costume contest held during this appearance, so be sure to come in costume or dressed as one of the members of Gwar for your chance to win tickets to see Gwar that night at The Rave and other prizes from Gwar and Metal Blade Records. The signing will take place from 5 - 6 PM. Fans that pre-order Bloody Pit Of Horror will receive a copy of the booklet early to have signed by Gwar. Fans that pre-order the album will be granted priority line access. For more information please call 414-281-6644.

As of press time more in store appearances are being scheduled, stay tuned for more info.

Upon hearing of the in-store appearances for the first time, singer Oderus Urungus muttered: "This is a great chance for the the fans to come out, get slapped around and maybe even vomited on. Afterwards, and during, we shall loot the store of all its products, go through the pockets of the dead, and force their corpses to have sex with animals. All in the name of good music!"

As previously reported, Gwar have finally made the leap from blood-soaked battlefields and wrecked concert halls to a realm every bit as violent and cutthroat - the realm of late night network TV.

Yes, that's right, your favorite group of fanatic furballs is set to appear on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on October 28th, playing 'Zombie's March!', the first single from their new album Bloody Pit Of Horror, out November 9th on Metal Blade Records.

The announcement follows lead singer's Oderus Urungus latest appearance on FOX News' Red Eye, which was described as a "complete cock-up", as he managed to botch just about every date he was suppose to plug.

"Well, it was my 13th time on the show-something bad was bound to happen", said the hapless super-boob. "The correct dates are up somewhere! And I totally forgot to mention that we will be offering the entire human race the chance to see our Halloween show in Milwaukee, via the Internet... that's right a pay per view first hand worldwide ringside seat to our sickest show of the year, and for a reasonable price as well."

Recently, Bloody-Disgusting.com premiered the first single from Bloody Pit Of Horror, 'Zombies March!'. Check it out here.
