HALEY REINHART Rocks LED ZEPPELIN On American Idol

For only the second time in American Idol history, a LED ZEPPELIN song was approved and sung by one of the contestants. After hearing HALEY REINHART's rendition of THE ANIMALS' ‘House Of The Rising Sun’, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant reached out to the American Idol executives and gave her permission for the Idol hopeful to use any of their singles for a performance.
Reinhart - who was joined by her father Harry on guitar - chose the Led Zeppelin II classic 'What Is And What Should Never Be' - check out her performance below:
Three finalists - Lauren Alania, Scotty McCreery and Haley Reinhart - tackled three separate tunes on the Idol stage tonight (May 18th) in Los Angeles. The songs were selected by judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, mentor Jimmy Iovine and the singers themselves. One of the finalists will be voted off on Thursday's show.
