The band have issued the following update:

"Hails,

After 3+ years since the release of 2006's Internal Dark Force, Infinitum Obscure is entering the recording studio on May 29th, 2009 to start production of their new full length album.

Infinitum Obscure's new album, Infra Ater Caela, will be recorded and mixed at Skull Seven Studios in North Hollywood, California by renowned producer Bill Metoyer (who has produced albums by SLAYER, MORBID ANGEL, W.A.S.P., OMEN, BITCH, LIZZY BORDEN, ATROPHY, etc).

The new album will be mastered at Necromorbus Studio in Alvik, Sweden (10 min. outside of Stockholm), by Tore Stjerna. Some of the dark works produced and mastered at Necromorbus Studios are from bands like WATAIN, NOMINON, AVERSE SEFIRA, FUNERAL MIST, NEX, ONDSKAPT, MORK GRYNING, ADORIOR, among others.

The artwork for the new album is already in process, under the command of the infamous Timo Ketola (who has done art for DISSECTION, Watain, DEATHSPELL OMEGA, KAAMOS, TEITANBLOOD, etc.).

Infra Ater Caela will be released in CD format by Deathgasm Records (USA) and 12 inch vinyl format by Blood Harvest Records (Sweden).
