Former Megadeth guitarist Jeff Young has posted his latest installment of Music Without Boundaries along with the following message:
"In case you missed tonight's installment of Jeff Young's Music Without Boundaries radio show, here/hear it is. We covered a lot of ground, and if there's ever one episode of my show you listen to in full and share with your friends, I would truly appreciate it.This week's theme: Mega Misinformation, Misunderstandings, Mistreatment and 'My Last Words' on Megadeth. This is IT. It's all here. If you're interested in the Mega-reality of my life-in-'Deth experience, you won't find it anywhere else but here. My final words.
We also remember Bobby Keys, Ian McLagan, Frank Zappa, Ronnie Montrose and wish happy birthdays to Jacos Pastorius and Gary Rossington. Plus we have two guests: Pat Campbell from Blindman and Jason Constantine & Travis Lee Dillingham from DIM join us to put the 'BOLO - All Points Bulletin' on the street to locate and return his stolen 5 guitars, and basically all his belongings. Thanks for listening and sharing."
Young, who played on Megadeth's third album - So Far, So Good...So What! - released in 1988, was recently asked by a fan on Facebook, "What's your thoughts on the current Megadeth situation? No chance of you going back?"
Of course "the situation" being referred to is the departure of both drummer Shawn Drover and guitarist Chris Broderick, which is detailed here. Young's response to the fan's question, "I have zero interest in 'the Megadeth situation.' The band is done. Put a fork in it."
