Kevin DuBrow (QUIET RIOT) has issued the following statement regarding what his feelings are on bassist Rudy Sarzo (ex-Quiet Riot/OZZY OSBOURNE/WHITESNAKE) writing a book about on former Ozzy/Quiet Riot guitar legend RANDY RHOADS called Off The Rails.

Says Kevin, “"It has confused and confounded me. It's bewildered me beyond belief. Let's look at the chronology, he was in Quiet Riot less than a year with Randy, nine months, we didn't even do twenty shows, he didn't record any of the Japanese albums, he only went to rehearsals in that

nine months and he never hung out with Randy. So, the band breaks up and Randy goes and makes those two Ozzy albums with Bob Daisley. Bob gets fired and Rudy comes onboard as a sideman and was in Ozzy's band less than a year before Randy got killed. So, how exactly is he going to write a book? Based solely on twenty shows in Quiet Riot and his eight months in Ozzy? His contact with Randy was peripheral at best. I just don't get it."

In regards to Rudy now being in DIO, Kevin states, “Best of luck to Ronnie. He should have kept Jeff Pilson because he's great or hired Bobby Dall. I mean what's the difference? I don't think I could deal with another tour of 130-decibel nonsense.

Billy Sheehan does it great because he's good at it, but I'll say no more. You know we had to cut ‘The Wild And The Young' from the DVD because it was so overplayed and the DVD took a long time to come out because the bass was so loud in the mix and bled into the drum mics. They had to take a sample from the kick drum from Frankie's solo and re-sample his own drums to get a proper drum sound because the bass was so loud."
