Killing Joke recently announced their return to North America this winter for a long-anticipated run of live dates. The tour will commence on December 3rd in New York City and run through nearly a dozen cities before coming to a close in Los Angeles on December 18th.

The trek will coincide with the band's latest studio offering, Absolute Dissent, the band's 13th full-length featuring the original lineup of Jaz Coleman (vocals), Geordie (guitar), Youth (bass) and Paul Ferguson (drums), who shared studio space for the first time in 27 years.

Killing Joke released their 13th studio album, Absolute Dissent, on September 27th 2010 via Spinefarm Records UK. A North American release date of November 16th has been set for the album.

As previously reported, the album – housed in a sleeve designed by artist/musician Jimmy Cauty of KLF fame – will be available in variety of formats, including standard 12-track CD, digital download & limited edition Deluxe CD format featuring enhanced packaging, sleeve notes, plus an 11-track second CD (‘Absolute Respect’) showcasing KJ cover versions from a wide variety of artists, including METALLICA, HELMET, FEAR FACTORY and FOO FIGHTERS.
