Italian metallers LACUNA COIL are forced to cancel their appearance on ShipRocked 2014, the rock music cruise vacation onboard the Norwegian Pearl which will depart from the Port Of Miami and will visit Great Stirrup Cay - a private island in the Bahamas - during the January 26th - 30th excursion.

Lacuna Coil says: "We are truly sorry to announce that we have had to cancel our appearance at the 2014 Shiprocked Cruise. We are dealing with some very serious personal family matters at this time which demand our full attention. Sadly, we are unable to travel such a far distance away from our loved ones. We truly hope that you can understand. Our most sincere apologies to everyone planning to come see us. We hope to see everyone very soon."

Cabins for the fifth ShipRocked are now sold out, with a full ship of nearly 3,000 guests from 44 states across the US and almost a dozen countries around the world set to sail. Those who would still like to join the 2014 excursion to Great Stirrup Cay - a private island in the Bahamas - are encouraged to sign up for the ShipRocked waiting list via Shiprocked.com, as cabins may become available between now and the sailing date.

The current band lineup for ShipRocked 2014 includes: FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, LIVING COLOUR, PAPA ROACH, THREE DAYS GRACE, DEVICE, SEVENDUST, CANDLEBOX, IN THIS MOMENT, THE HALO METHOD, NONPOINT, LOVE & DEATH, ARANDA, ART OF DYING, YOUNG GUNS, CRASH KINGS, BUTCHER BABIES, SCORPION CHILD, WILSON, AMERICAN FANGS, DIGITAL SUMMER, AND ANDY WOOD & THE AMALGAM.

Onboard, bands will perform on the large outdoor Monster Energy Deck Stage, in the beautiful Stardust Theater, the Crystal Atrium stage, and the Spinnaker Lounge. While in port at Great Stirrup Cay, guests will enjoy unforgettable performances on the Beach Stage.

For the first time in 2014, ShipRocked will wash ashore on its own private island. Guests will spend two full days enjoying concerts and activities on a private beach on Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas. The island features a large performance area on the beach with full production for rock shows and offers various island excursions such as parasailing, snorkeling, canoeing and more.

2014 also marks a vessel change for ShipRocked. The January ShipRocked voyage will be held onboard the Norwegian Pearl, which Frommer’s calls one of the “most original mainstream megaships.” The Pearl features luxurious accommodations, along with 16 delicious dining options, 13 bars and lounges, casino, spa, fitness center, a chic bowling alley, rock climbing wall, sports court, two pools, waterslides, hot tubs, and much more.

As in the past, ShipRocked guests will enjoy multiple performances from every band on different stages throughout the ship, artist meet and greets, Q&A; sessions, along with artist-hosted activities including contests, game shows, insane parties, theme nights and more.

The ShipRocked charity auction will benefit Cancer Sucks, a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding innovative medical research and finding a cure for cancer. The auction will feature one-of-a-kind rock memorabilia from current and past ShipRocked bands and more. ShipRocked guests have a history of generosity, with previous onboard auctions raising over $150,000 for various charities.
