Inspired by half-witted journalist William Grim, who criticized (PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN guitarist) Dimebag Darrell and the metal music community for mourning his death, in his article: Aesthetics Of Hate: R.I.P. Dimebag Abbott, & Good Riddance. MACHINE HEAD’s track ‘Aesthetics Of Hate’ is the rebuttal. Robb Flynn’s lyric, "I hope you burn in hell" clearly denotes the shared view of the metal community to one, William Grim and the neo-conservative website The Iconoclast, that propagated his hatred. The music video for ‘Aesthetics Of Hate’ off of Machine Head’s latest release, The Blackening, will debut on Saturday, May 5th on MTV2’s Headbanger’s Ball, airing at 10:00pm EST.
