MAD MAX - New Interview Available: "Most Of Our Lyrics Deal With Christian Topics"

Brian Rademacher at RockEyez.com recently spoke with MAD MAX guitarist Juergen Breforth about the band's 25 year career and their upcoming appearance at Rocklahoma 2009. An excerpt is available below.
Q: In the early days many considered Mad Max a Christian metal band. Would you consider that true?
Breforth: "Absolutely – most of our lyrics deal with Christian topics. But it is fine for us if somebody is not that much interested in the lyrics and only likes the music. We don’t want to force people to believe what we believe. We also have a lot of songs that deal with social problems like for example 'Mad Gone Blind' from the new album that deals with the topic of school shootings, or one of our greatest hits 'Little Princess', which is a song about child abuse."
