Chicago-based electro-metal act MARAZENE MACHINE (formerly MARAZENE) will release their edgy electronic/whiskey/sex-fueled rendition of the MÖTLEY CRÜE classic, 'Live Wire', as a digital single on March 22nd.

An audio sample can be heard in the YouTube clip below:

'Live Wire' marks the first new material from the band since 2007 and provides the first listen as to how the bands new album and continually developing sound is shaping up.

Two other new song titles - 'Welcome To Your Holiday' and 'The Very Sad Fate Of Miss Desdemona Antoinette Marceaux', have previously been announced and are expected to be key tracks on the as yet untitled collection.

A release date for the new album is forthcoming.

The principle songwriting tandem of producers DieTrich Thrall and Nikk Skum have largely kept a low profile since the tragic loss of co-founding member Kristopher "Kristov' Kemp to a three year battle with colon cancer in early 2009. In recent months however the members have been dropping hints as to demo progress while putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to 2007's critically regarded 'MachiNation' album.

"We've entered a new phase for this new album and for our band," commented multi-instrumentalist and vocalist DieTrich Thrall. "The wait is over and the rumors are 100% true. We are back and we are ready to release an onslaught of new music."
"The rust is burning off the gears as the machine heats up," multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Nikk Skum offered. "We've been spring-loaded for awhile now. Once this train leaves the station, it's not stopping till the end of the line..."

The band won over industry insiders and fans Nationwide with their explosive, high-energy performances while touring the US and Canada 100% DIY with such acts as MUSHROOMHEAD, THE HUMAN ABSTRACT, PSYCLON NINE, DEADSTAR ASSEMBLY, and WEDNESDAY 13.
