MEGADETH - New Interview With Drummer SHAWN DROVER Available

Alan Sculley at The Caller-Times recently caught up with MEGADETH drummer Shawn Drover. An excerpt from the story appears below:
Drummer Shawn Drover had only played two large-scale concerts before Megadeth asked him to join its tour.
A major Megadeth fan since the mid-1980s, Drover joined the group that included his brother, guitarist Glen Drover, after another drummer left the group just six days before a tour.
Drover said he's glad he was thrown into the band.
"It kind of worked out really neat because instead of saying 'Hey, do you want to join the band. We're going on tour in two months,' I didn't have any chance to let it sink in," Drover said of the call three and a half years ago from Megadeth founder and leader, guitarist Dave Mustaine.
