Film-maker Sam Dunn, co-director/host of Metal: A Headbanger's Journey, is currently filming a documentary on Canadian heavy rock icons RUSH. According to www.rushisaband.com, Dunn and his team were recently filming at RushCon - North America's international Rush fan convention held in Toronto. Rush bassist Geddy Lee has already been filmed for the project expected out next year.

Dunn and his team are also wrapping up work on their latest project: Global Metal.

"The goal of this film is to discover what is happening in metal scenes around the world," Dunn and co-director Scot said in a statement recently. "Metal has spread throughout Asia, South America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and even Africa. We want to discover what metal means to musicians and fans that come from these diverse cultures."

Dunn has yet another creative outlet - he plays bass for Toronto-based thrashers BURN TO BLACK, who released their debut album, Mach666, earlier this year.
