Metallica have updated their tour schedule with new dates for 2022.

Says the band: "It’s been beyond incredible the past few weeks on the road… damn, it feels great to be hanging with the ‘Tallica family again! You’ve got us fully energized and fired up to add more shows to the calendar in 2022, and this one’s been on our list for a while - Las Vegas, Nevada! We’ll be hitting the stage at the new home of the Las Vegas Raiders, Allegiant Stadium, on Friday, February 25, 2022, along with Greta Van Fleet and another special guest still to be announced.

Our show is part of a very special weekend featuring two unique, separately ticketed events with music icon Billy Joel taking the stage the next night, February 26.

Tickets for each night will go on sale Friday, October 29 at 10 AM, PDT via Ticketmaster. The Fan Club Presale starts tomorrow, Tuesday, October 26, at 9 AM, PDT for Legacy Members and at 11 AM, PDT for Fifth Members. Travel packages that include both tickets and hotel accommodations will also be available courtesy of MetallicaTravel.com/LasVegas. Package options include either two or four tickets and will also be available during the fan club presale."

Metallica continue: "As the saying goes, the third time is the charm, and we’re excited to be in this space today to announce the re-rescheduled South American tour dates! For those of you who have hung in there with us over the last 18 months since the original shows were supposed to happen, thank you for your tremendous patience! We truly cannot wait to finally visit South America for the first time in almost five years in April/May of 2022 as we head back for the originally planned six headlining shows, including two Brazilian cities we have never played in: Belo Horizonte and Curitiba. Still on board for the ride to open the show are our friends in Greta Van Fleet.

Hang on to your tickets from those originally scheduled shows way back in April of 2020, as they will be honored for the new dates. Where applicable, refund information is below; we encourage you to visit the website or location where you purchased your tickets for additional details should you be unable to join us in the spring of 2022. Please note that the Buenos Aires show is back to the original location of Campo Argentino de Polo, and tickets are still available for most shows.
