METALLICA played a benefit show this past Friday, September 11th, for the Marin History Museum's "Marin Rocks" project. Officially filmed footage can be seen below:

Both Metallica vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ultich are residents of Marin, CA.

As previously reported, concert-goers paid from $100 to $350 a ticket to the sold-out show in the 2,000-seat Marin Veterans Memorial Auditorium in San Rafael, CA.
