MUSPELLHEIM Inks Deal With Disconcert Music

Disconcert Music has announced the signing of Vancouver's MUSPELLHEIM. According to a press release, this dark death machine rides the line between the unsettling darkness and the frenetic extreme of death metal. The album, entitled 'Violent By Design', features the performance of amazing drum tornado Igor Cheifot along with a CARCASS-style vocal attack by vocalist Alex Melkinov.
Violent by Design was mastered by Alan Douches DOUCHES (ABORTED, NEURAXIS, SUFFOCATION). The band was chosen
from 75 artists as winners of the first annual Long & McQuade Metal Fest contest sponsored by Jackson, Marshall, Yamaha,
Digitech and Paiste. This event was judged by Gene Hoglan (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, DEATH, DARK ANGEL), Dean Maher (Engineer - SLAYER), Devin Townsend (Strapping Young Lad, STEVE VAI, DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND) and Michael Wilton (QUEENSRŸCHE).
MUSPELLHEIM plays a blend of bands such as: HYPOCRISY, NECROPHOBIC, IMMORTAL, fused with old CRYTOPSY.
