OZZY OSBOURNE Makes Plea For New Hospital To Be Called The Midlands Metropolitan Hospital

According to Birminghammail.net, OZZY OSBOURNE knows just how important a hospital can be after years of the heavy rock lifestyle and a near death quad bike crash.
So when the born-and-bred Brummie heard there was to be a new hi-tech NHS hospital for the city, he was chewing at the bit to play a part in naming a legacy for future generations.
The BLACK SABBATH frontman is championing his shortlisted choice of The Midlands Metropolitan Hospital for a new £484 million hospital in Smethwick.
Ozzy, now aged 61, who is currently on the Scream world tour, said: “This hospital will cover Aston, which is where I grew up, so I am really pleased that we now have something special for the whole community.
“The name for a new multi-million pound hospital for Birmingham needs to stand out. The Midland Metropolitan Hospital does the job and I can see people calling it ‘The Met’.”Read more here.
