Philip Anselmo Talks Rex Brown's Status In DOWN At Sweden Rock Festival Press Conference

During a press conference on Friday, June 10th at Sweden Rock Festival in Solvesborg, DOWN vocalist Philip Anselmo (ex-PANTERA) addressed bassist Rex Brown's (ex-Pantera) status in the band (Patrick Bruders is currently filling in for Brown).
Says Anselmo: "Rex is… Just to put it kindly, he needs to address some personal things in his life and, when he has to address these personal things, the extremity of them, you know, it's gonna take him away from music and touring and stuff like that. We all support him, we love him, we're still very close with him, speak with him all the time. You know, I suggest everyone in the room, everyone that has any emotion at all about Rex, just give some good thoughts to him... you know, he needs it.. and we still support him. We wish the best for him."

It looks like they're gonna lay down some new tracks at the end of the month when they return from the other side of the pond.
