ROB HALFORD And MILITIA VOX Duet Premieres On Sirius XM, Two Years After Release
December 1, 2024, 2 days ago
A duet featuring Rob Halford of Judas Priest and Militia Vox, lead singer of Judas Priestess, premiered November 30th on Sirius XM - two years after its release.
DJ Mark Strigl announced on Sirius XM's Hair Nation channel that "this new song went under the radar" and played the duet "Push Comes To Shove" by supergroup Bad Penny (featuring members of Blue Oyster Cult, Journey, and Queen) featuring the metal god and the metal goddess on dueling lead vocals. Hair Nation's format is mainly classic '80s hair metal, and therefore couldn't play the song when it was newly released in Fall of 2022.

Militia Vox is the only artist to have a song with the person they've tributed. Militia Vox and Judas Priestess are mentioned in Rob Halford's book Biblical, and both Militia and Judas Priestess recently signed deals with Golden Robot Records [Sony/The Orchard distribution] and released new singles. Judas Priestess is the first all-female tribute band to sign a global record deal.
