hot flashes news

BraveWords.com has received the following press release:

Musicmight, the world's biggest rock and metal database, now has separate page entries for individual musicians — over 500,000 of them.

With over 100,000 bands and over two million recordings (albums, singles, DVDs, demos) listed, and growing daily, Musicmight now displays individual musicians' career paths to show which bands they have been members of and who they have sessioned with both live and in the studio.

Public users can register to add information to fill in any gaps. Fans can now track their favorite metal musicians to add a wealth of detail to the rapidly expanding database. "We want as much detail from contributors as possible," says Garry Sharpe-Young. "It's noticable that many new bands simply list their members by a first name. Well, 'John' does not work too well in a database so surnames, nicknames, birth dates, associated bands, previous projects are all the kinds of detail you can add to benefit users. Some of the band's family trees, like BLACK SABBATH, L.A. GUNS, etc are an absolute labyrinth when it comes to ex-members. It's not just the big bands either, brand new acts are more than welcome."

Musicmight (previously known as Rockdetector) hosts of thousands of unique, in depth biographies on rock and metal artists plus detailed discographies and lists of musicians. The web site was founded in 2001 by Garry Sharpe-Young, author of lauded biographies on BLACK SABBATH and OZZY OSBOURNE plus numerous metal reference books, including "A-Z of Death Metal" and "A-Z of Thrash Metal". More books are planned.
